"I treat patients, not symptoms," says Dr. Kim about his dedication to those he serves. "There needs to be a connection to understanding the total health of my patients. Medical school taught me medicine, but my best teachers are my patients. They help me to carefully diagnose their illnesses and symptoms and then, the treatment is thoughtfully prescribed."
Dr. Kim earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where the specialization of Osteopathy was originally founded by Dr. A.T. Still in Missouri. He completed his post graduate studies at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute of St. Petersburg, Florida.
"Early in my career
I developed a passion for prevention of chronic disease through healthy living. I believe there is a difference between not being sick and actually living well and I enjoy watching patients transform their lives under this motto, a truly rewarding experience."
Ms. Wilcox received her undergraduate degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland and her certification as a Physicians' Assistant from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She specializes in prevention, wellness, metabolic syndrome treatment and lifestyle modification, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and acute conditions.
"The largest compliment my patients can give me is the referral of their family and friends. I take pride in helping my patients return to work, sports, and activities of daily living."
Dr. McGowan received her Bachelor of Science in 1992 from Iowa State University with high honors, and her Masters of Physical Therapy in 1994 from the University of Iowa at the top of her class. In 2002, she became a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Received her Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine in Florida. In addition to her regular and walk-in patients, her diverse practice includes services for professional athletes - including football, baseball, soccer, golf and wrestling - to working backstage with professional Broadway performers on tour in Tampa Bay.

“I recognize the importance of a positive patient-provider relationship and feel it is necessary to take the time to educate patients on their medical condition. I strongly believe in proper health maintenance for people of all ages. Good health and well-being is not just a part time pursuit, but a lifetime commitment for all of us.”
Ms. Wadas studied Human Biology at the University of Kansas and gained her Physician Assistant training and diploma from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She practiced urgent and preventative care at Americare Medical Center in Sunrise, Florida for four years before joining TLC.
